Dayton Aerospace has successfully facilitated issue resolution and conducted Early Issue Identification and Resolution (EIIR) training for several joint Government and Industry teams for major programs

Dayton Aerospace has extensive experience resolving disputes and claims using Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques. But our real value is helping you avoid them in the first place. We can improve program execution by providing counsel and training for industry and government and teams, either jointly or separately, that:

  • promotes the early identification and resolution of issues in controversy,
  • facilitates active management of issues throughout their lifecycles, and
  • helps to avoid program delays and excessive costs of disputes and litigation.

Our team of retired USAF personnel has a deep understanding of USAF work environments and acquisition issues, and can tailor ADR support and training for government, industry, and joint teams. Drawing on this extensive hands-on expertise in all aspects of ADR, we can lead your team through the entire process from the initial claim, through documentation to adjudication. We also offer an Early Issue Identification and Resolution (EIIR) workshop which contains five mutually supportive modules, covering:

  • Challenges of a Joint Team
  • Risk Management
  • Effective Negotiating Skills
  • Dispute Avoidance and Resolution
  • Issue Time Line
  • Related Functions
