Dayton Aerospace consultants have extensive expertise in all functional aspects of weapon system sustainment operations from business and financial arrangements to hands-on maintenance and logistics planning and support. We have been directly involved in developing and implementing strategies, including developing performance-based logistics strategies for the Joint Strike Fighter, the CV-22, and Joint STARS, each of which includes provisions for a significant amount of partnering between the OEMs and government depot organizations.
The Joint STARS program is perhaps our most significant accomplishment. On that program we helped both government (WR-ALC and ESC at Hanscom AFB) and the OEM (Northrop Grumman) to develop a comprehensive business relationship. The relationship is laid out in a series of documents that include overarching top-level MOAs as well as working level "IDIQ-like" partnering and implementation contractual agreements. Together, these documents provide the detail through which work is performed by the Depot in a Hybrid arrangement where oversight is provided by Northrop Grumman while funding flows from government to government under the terms of the agreements.
