Dayton Aerospace was tasked by ASC/XRQ to author a revision to the AFMCPAM 63-5, Integrated Master Plan and Schedule Guide. This pamphlet provides guidance on the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), which together provide a systematic approach to program planning and scheduling. The overhaul of the pamphlet included adding two substantial sections on IMP/IMS in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Source Selections and IMP/IMS in Program Execution. A four-hour training course, based on the document, was also developed and given to a select group of AFIT instructors, program office and contractor personnel. Dayton Aerospace contributions to the AFMC document have been implemented OSD-wide, serving as the basis for revisions to the latest OSD IMP/IMS guidance, The Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide.
