Chad Millette has extensive experience leading, managing, and teaching people in the areas of defense acquisition and human skills. He has created and implemented learning and development strategies for thousands of military and civilian personnel, including project management, requirements, and professional continuing education training for the US Air Force (USAF) and Space Systems Command (SCC). Chad is a former Materiel Leader supporting signals intelligence and geospatial intelligience sensors for USAF systems and Acting Associate Dean for the Air Force Institute of Technology, School of Systems and Logistics (AFIT/LS).
Significant Career Accomplishments
Defined and implemented comprehensive learning and development strategy for 6,000 SSC active-duty military and civilians. Created innovative education and training programs, such as a Project Execution Course and Acquisition Education Wargame.
Supported AFIT/LS with acquisition program management new course development and research. Instructed multiple courses for hundreds of USAF active duty and civilian students.
Led team providing data, analytic, and subject matter expertise support to the USAF Strategic Development Planning and Experimentation (SDPE) Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis office.
As a Material Leader, led 150+ personnel developing, fielding, and sustaining intellignce, surveillance, and reconnaisance (ISR) capability, airborne, and ground-based—a portfolio with a $300M annual budget. System program manager for one ACAT I, one ACAT II, and four ACAT III programs; fourteen active FMS cases, plus several acquisition projects below the ACAT III level.
