Significant Career Accomplishments
Led the strategic reinvention of a the Wright Brothers Institue (WBI), a 23-year-old nonprofit research institute, driving organizational transformation, revenue diversification, stakeholder engagement, and new high-impact community and national security programming.
Directed strategic initiatives for the standup and scaling of the new 1,000-person Air Force Integrated Capabilities Command (Provisional) (ICC(P)), focusing on organizational strategy, stakeholder engagement, and integration with agency processes.
As the Air Force Capability Industry Lead for Air Force Strategic Development Planning & Experimentation (AF SDPE), leveraged industry ideas and support to generate new concepts for the Air Force to pursue to enable Air Superiority 2030 (AS2030), Multi Domain Command and Control (MDC2), and Electronic Warfare/Electromagnetic Spectrum (EW/EMS) Enterprise Capability Collaboration Teams (ECCTs); execute Experimentation Campaigns, and expand analytical capabilities.
Oversaw the first Air Force-wide analysis of strategic capability Flight Plans, roadmaps, and strategies resulting in Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force (VCSAF) direction for Agency-wide consolidation to improve resource stewardship and shorten development timelines.
Pioneered the standup of the Air Force-wide, public facing, innovation organization – AFWERX.
Led the AF SDPE office's Directed Energy Weapon (DEW) Experimentation Campaign; directed a 40+ multi-disciplinary team of senior scientists, engineers, intel analysts, planners, operators, and acquisition professionals to create the enterprise-wide DEW Campaign Charter and four-year campaign plan utilizing modeling and simulation (M&S), wargaming, red teaming, prototypes, and live-fly experiments addressing the Air Force’s top three’s DEW priorities to broadly operationalize DEWs in the service.
