We kick off the new year with good news: Colonel Cory Brown, USAF (retired), is promoted from Dayton Aerospace Senior Associate to Vice President, and joined the firm's Board of Directors effective January 1.


Cory will assist in strategic decisions and planning as a Dayton Aerospace partner and board member and will continue to support clients with his unique senior military expertise in several areas, including acquisition strategy and management, risk management, portfolio management, strategic planning and communication, and program management.


Since joining us in 2023, Cory has brought tremendous value to our industry and defense clients. In September 2023, he retired as System Program Director, B-2 Division, Bombers Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio, after 25 years of service. In this position, he led a $3.2 billion portfolio including more than 850 cross-functional personnel at four geographically dispersed sites, driving successful delivery of cutting-edge software and hardware capabilities to ensure the B-2 remained viable in a highly contested environment. Prior to that, he held several other leadership roles, including Chief of Analysis for the Program Budget Analysis Directorate, J8 Force Structure, Resource and Assessment, Joint Staff, Washington, DC; and Senior Program Manager, Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) Division, Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.


Cory joined Dayton Aerospace as a senior associate to consult with government and defense industry partners on a host of services, including strategic planning, portfolio management, systems engineering, digital materiel management, and program execution support.

DAYTON, Ohio – JANUARY 5, 2026 – Dayton Aerospace, Inc., a Dayton, Ohio-based executive management and technical services firm, announced today that Col. Cory Brown, U.S. Air Force (retired), is promoted from Senior Associate to Vice President, and joined its Board of Directors effective January 1, 2026.
