Join our experienced team delivering an in-depth understanding of the US Air Force (USAF) airworthiness certification process as outlined in the recently updated USAF guidance, MIL-HDBK-516D, Airworthiness Certification. In this intensive 4-day course, participants will learn airworthiness standards and methods of compliance, as well as the expectations for artifacts and risk. Throughout, instructors will highlight key changes from MIL-HDBK-516C to MIL-HDBK-516D.
Course development and instruction led by Jorge Gonzalez, former Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Engineering Directorate (AFLCMC/EN-EZ) Director of Engineering and Technical Management and USAF Technical Airworthiness Authority (TAA) and Dawn McGarvery-Buchwalder, former Branch Chief/Technical Advisor for the USAF Airworthiness Office.
Additional course instruction by subject matter experts in each domain of MIL-HDBK-516D with hands on experience applying the airworthiness process across all phases of the acquisition cycle.
DURATION: 28 hours of instruction over four days
LOCATION: In-person (Dayton, Ohio) and virtual attendance available
